In 1991, Daniel and Rita Verduyn took over at the helm of the company from Gabriël Verduyn. Since then, they have transformed Verduyn into an international player in the world of vegetables for industrial processing, fresh market, agriculture and food service. Daniel Verduyn contributes all his knowledge of vegetable growing and industrial processing while his wife, Rita, carefully manages the administrative flow.
Alexander Verduyn literally grew up - or was cultivated - among the machines of his parents' company. He worked in all the production departments and helped the sales division deliver European successes. He works as the operational manager of the production site in Kortemark and became the CEO of the Verduyn Group in 2016.
After starting out her career in real estate, Daniël en Rita's daughter, Valerie Verduyn, joined the group in 2011 and was tasked with HR and payroll. To date, she is responsible for the financial management of the Verduyn Group, with her mother Rita. Mother and daughter combine their professional know-how for the family company's benefit.
Nicolas Verduyn is an agricultural entrepreneur who is responsible for the group's own agricultural company. Agricolas was established in 2013 and has since become a prominent and modern grower of fresh cabbage and broccoli. Agricolas is successfully expanding in Belgium and Northern France and growing like branches on a family tree.
